The Usui Reiki system is used to assist you to achieve a state of deep relaxation that allows your body, mind and spirit to become more aligned with each other and their natural ability to create the health and life that you desire. The word Reiki is a combination of 2 words; Rei meaning "universal wisdom" and Ki meaning "life force energy", so the premise of Reiki is that we have an intelligent life force within us, and around us, that can be directed by the Reiki Master to open, balance and clear the energy centres within us so that we can receive this life force energy and be replenished by it. By receiving this "boost" from the universal energy source, you will become more clear, connected, and grounded and therefore more attuned with the innate power of your mind, body and spirit to create a greater state of well being from within.
